Description
As an engineer at boostr, you'll work in an agile development team building new features for our revenue management platform. You'll focus on back-end coding using the Ruby on Rails framework. We believe in collaboration between the back-end, front-end, product, and QA, so you should be comfortable coordinating with people across the entire software development lifecycle and tech stack. We practice continuous deployment so every contribution you make is noticed and valued.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Scoping, prototyping and implementing features for our customers with attention to scalability and security
- Quick escalation of issues to ensure timely resolution
- Providing feedback to the product team with engineering limitations and optimizations
- Fixing bugs and writing unit tests
- Able to work with onshore & offshore teams
Requirements
- 4+ years working with modern cloud technologies – Ruby on Rails, Angular, Redis, Postgres, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Angular
- Building large scale systems capable of supporting millions of users
- BS in Computer Science or similar education
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
